Job summary

Little Green Apple in Park Ridge, IL seeks a part-time Sales Leader who is enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused. You will lead by example, provide product recommendations, and support store management to run daily operations and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

This role centers on sales, service, and relationship-building. Responsibilities include sharing product knowledge, merchandising, inventory duties, and occasional curbside deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of prior retail experience, sales, or customer service.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to open and close the store a minimum of three times per week, and also work two weekend shifts per month.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including events, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a warm, inviting, easy-to-navigate shopping environment.
• Building and sharing expertise on products, promotions, services, and brand rewards programs.
• Serves as a support for store management with the team.
• Helping customers find the perfect card and gift solutions to fulfill their missions of caring and connecting.
• Sharing and showcasing stories and communities of caring to reinforce the cycle of kindness.
• Handling store operations including product replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, processing shipments, inventory, and curbside deliveries.
• Delivering an exceptional consumer shopping experience that leaves guests inspired and eager to return.
• Working as a team to help meet sales goals and ensure customers leave with everything they need and more.
