Please Note: Excellent customer service skills are a must. Part-time positions are available. Please tell us about your availability! Availability to work evenings and weekends is preferred for this position.

Our Retail Centers are open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sundays.

Pay: $15.65 per hour. This position is eligible for Daily Pay! Work today, get paid today! We've partnered with DailyPay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule.

Part-Time employees in our Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave. Job Summary

The Associate I, Retail Sales Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries. Sales Associates must help maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor that meets company standards and be able to operate a point-of-sale cash register system to ensure the quality of product and pricing are accurate at the time of purchase.

Essential Functions

• Verify till counts, provide accurate cashier transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer using a computer-based point-of-sale system.
• Drive the Roundup initiative by engaging customers and sharing knowledge of the mission it supports.
• Provide excellent customer service, uphold company values, and assist customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking up items off the floor, and putting away products and returned items.
• Ensure a safe, clean, organized, and well-stocked point of sale, sales floor, and restrooms.
• Initiate Customer Delight/Power Hour calls over intercom to organize and clean the sales floor.
• Follow all retail policies, safety procedures, and cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities beyond listed tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail sales or cash handling experience preferred.
• Accurate with numbers and calculations, understanding of US currency, and basic math skills.
• Effective communication skills with customers and staff.
• Ability to operate a cash register and credit card machine.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 8 hours, with color vision for transactions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
