Note: Excellent customer service skills are essential. Part-time positions are available. Please share your availability, especially evenings and weekends.

Our Retail Centers are open: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Pay: $15.65 per hour. This position is eligible for Daily Pay, allowing you to work today and get paid today. We partner with DailyPay, a voluntary benefit. Part-time employees are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave. All employees can contribute pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) to our retirement plan. Must be 18+ years old. Goodwill of Colorado is a PSLF-eligible employer.

Job Summary:

The Associate I, Retail Sales Cashier provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to inquiries professionally. They maintain a well-stocked, organized sales floor and operate the point-of-sale system to ensure accurate pricing and transactions.

Essential Functions:

• Verify till counts, process transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Engage customers and promote the Roundup initiative.
• Deliver excellent customer service aligning with company values.
• Assist customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized, including shelves, racks, and returned items.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment.
• Organize and clean the sales floor during Customer Delight/Power Hour calls.
• Follow all retail policies and safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities are available.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: At least 1 year of retail sales or cash handling experience preferred.

• Accuracy with numbers and understanding of US currency.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for prolonged periods.
