Navy Exchange North Island Main Store in California is seeking a part-time Sales Associate in the Consumables Department (20-34.50 hours). This federal employee role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Sales Associate you will be the face of our organization, helping customers, highlighting our brand, and guiding them to the right products. You will learn product details, assist with promotions, and operate the POS system with accuracy.

Formación

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong reading, writing and interpretation of safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively engage and assist customers in-store.
• Maintain store appearance and organize merchandise.
• Cross-sell products and inform customers about promotions.
• Use POS system for transactions and cash handling.
• Participate in inventory and reconciliation tasks.
