Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas in Keller, TX is seeking a part-time retail associate to support store operations and customer service. You will manage the POS system, assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain store appearance.

Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting customers, and helping shoppers on the sales floor. Must have basic math, good communication, and ability to work varied hours in a 7-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a setting that involves positive interaction with the public or a team.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience dealing with the public.
• Proficient in basic math; able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on product quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately.
• Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service.
• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor to locate merchandise.
• Assist with maintenance of hangers and sizing of textiles on the sales floor.
• Return empty racks and carts to production area and restock depleted merchandise.
• Maintain overall appearance of the sales floor and perform cleaning functions.
• Open availability of schedule preferred; store open 7 days a week with varying hours.
