Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a dedicated associate to uphold daily store operations, engage customers, and drive sales across footwear brands. You will manage pricing, shipments, inventory, and presentation to ensure a clean, organized, and easily shoppable store.

As a team member, you’ll champion our culture, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and collaborate with the Store Sales Manager to meet performance goals while maintaining high standards of integrity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a flexible schedule (holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours).

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory to keep store running smoothly.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer by delivering stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Drive store performance and sales with urgency; communicate clearly with the team.
• Maintain integrity by following company policies and seeking feedback for development.
• Foster diversity and inclusivity and support teammates’ growth and training.
• Assist customers with shoe recommendations to ensure the perfect fit and Famous Feeling.
