Job summary

Adams Hometown Markets Pricing Coordinator position focuses on managing pricing, item data and promotions across center store vendors. You will keep price integrity, update cost and vendor information, and assist stores with pricing questions and promo setups.

The role requires strong Excel skills, detail orientation, and experience in grocery pricing or vendor coordination. Part-time, up to 20 hours weekly, with night closes and a flexible weekday/weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years in grocery retail, pricing coordination, or vendor management preferred.
• Proficient in intermediate-level Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Strong data entry with pricing systems and POS back-office tools preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate pricing and item data for center store products (cost, retail, promos).
• Enter and verify data in pricing and inventory systems to ensure POS and back-office accuracy.
• Audit store pricing for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and process price changes daily, weekly and during promos.
• Work with specialists to resolve discrepancies between invoices, cost files and shelf pricing.
• Assist in new item setup with UPC, vendor and department coding.
• Support store teams with pricing queries, promos, and vendor communication.
• Train managers on reporting and pricing, troubleshoot issues and discrepancies.
• Generate reports for gross margin, shrink, item movement, price variances, and promotions.
• Ensure deadlines for price changes and ads are met accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
