Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately in a retail setting.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and adherence.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians during daily operations.
• Process insurance claims and assist with prior authorizations.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and DEA guidelines.
