Cheshire Pharmacy in Cheshire, CT is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced community setting. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and ensure accurate medication handling while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has CT Tech registration (or ability to obtain), retail or compounding experience, and strong communication skills to support workflow and patient care in our neighborhood pharmacy.

Competenze

• Active Connecticut Pharmacy Technician registration or ability to obtain one.
• Retail or compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and prescription processing systems.
• Strong attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Process and verify prescription orders, including data entry into pharmacy management systems.
• Handle insurance billing, prior authorizations, and resolve claim rejections.
• Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter and over the phone.
• Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, including receiving and stocking medications.
• Prepare prescription labels and package medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting
• PTCB or NHA certification (CPhT) is a plus
