Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. Responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets, and occasionally servicing other vendors' products with detailed instructions and additional time.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay between $14.50 - $15.00 depending on shift and location.
• Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours: 8 – 12 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Key components include:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, and communicating with supervisors.
• Holiday support: Additional days and hours around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays.
• Department Resets: Installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, possibly during evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts as needed.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform tasks like stooping, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology.
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
