Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing organization and time management skills, building retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. Responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets, and occasionally servicing other vendors’ products with detailed instructions and additional time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $13.00 to $13.75, depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 8–10 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage product displays in retail stores, restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device, communicate with supervisors, and engage professionally with store staff and customers.
• Support seasonal demand around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends when needed.
• Participate in department resets, building/install fixtures, relocating products, and resetting sections, often with two weeks’ notice for remodels, including possible evening and weekend work.
• Support additional tasks and installation efforts as part of a team effort.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform physical activities like stooping, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using ladders.
