Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing organization, time management, and relationship-building skills. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned stores, following detailed instructions and additional budgeted time.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the week.
• Weekly hours are between 10 and 14 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will service retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Your responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Additional hours and days around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, possibly including working on the actual holiday or weekends.
• Department resets: Building and installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, which may include evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts as needed across the team.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to operate handheld technology
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations
