Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned stores, with instructions and additional budgeted time provided.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay up to $14.00 depending on shift and location.
• This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 8 – 10 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Responsibilities include:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device, communicate with supervisors, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Support seasonal demand around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Christmas, possibly working on holidays and weekends.
3. Department Resets: Assist with installations, fixture building, and resets, often with two weeks' notice, including evenings or weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Support additional work and installation efforts as needed across responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires high energy, the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology and access Wi-Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
