Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. Your responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service other vendors' products in your assigned stores with provided instructions and additional budgeted time.

Salary and Shift Details
  • Starting pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.00, depending on shift and location.
  • This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Weekly hours are between 8 and 12 hours.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work across various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role involves three main components:

  1. Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
  2. Holiday support: Additional days and hours around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends.
  3. Department resets: Assisting with installations, fixture building, and department resets, often with two weeks' notice, which may include evenings and weekends.
  4. One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts beyond your primary responsibilities as needed.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift (up to 30 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally), stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders throughout your shift.

  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to operate mobile technology for merchandising activities
  • Access to Wi-Fi and internet
  • Reliable transportation to assigned locations
