Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $11.00 to $16.00 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 10–12 hours.
• Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will service the Hallmark department across various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Responsibilities include:

• Daily engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory via a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Increased hours and days around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, with possible holiday work on actual holidays and weekends.
• Department resets: Assisting with fixtures installation, department relocations, and resets, often notified two weeks in advance, including evenings or weekends.
• Team support: Supporting additional work and installation efforts as needed.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and be able to stand, walk, stoop, squat, climb stairs, and use ladders throughout your shift.
