Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser Floater, you will work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. Your responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally servicing other vendors' products with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay ranges from $16.75 to $17.00 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 5–10 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position involves:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Additional hours and days around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, possibly including working on the holiday itself.
3. Department resets: Participating in installations, fixture building, department relocations, and resets, often with advance notice and sometimes during evenings or weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Supporting additional tasks and installations as needed across the organization.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform tasks involving stooping, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using ladders.
