Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. Responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and possibly servicing products from other vendors with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay up to $15.00, depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 13 – 16 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Perform service work in Hallmark departments across various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Key components include:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory via a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Additional hours and days around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends.
• Department resets: Installing fixtures, relocating products, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, possibly including evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts as needed across the team.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring high energy and urgency. Tasks include pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, along with stooping, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate mobile devices to access and interpret documents.
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to report to assigned locations.
