Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional time provided.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS
  • Starting pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.00 depending on shift and location.
  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the week.
  • Weekly hours are between 9 – 12 hours.
  • Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position includes:

  • Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
  • Holiday support: Additional days and hours around major holidays, with possible work on the actual holiday.
  • Department Resets: Installing fixtures, relocating products, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice for remodels, including evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installations as needed across responsibilities.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, with frequent standing, walking, stooping, squatting, and climbing stairs or ladders.

  • Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to operate mobile technology for merchandising tasks
