Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and being the face of Hallmark. Your responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay up to $13.00, depending on shift and location.
• Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours between 12–30 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will service retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Key components include:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Increased hours around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends when needed.
3. Department resets: Installing fixtures, relocating products, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice for remodels, which may include evenings or weekends.
4. Team support: Supporting additional tasks beyond your specific responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform tasks like stooping, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders throughout the day.

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology to read documents and interpret information.
