Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product, with instructions and additional time provided.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay between $14.25 - $15.25 depending on shift and location.
• Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours between 8 – 10 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will perform service work in retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Responsibilities include:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with your supervisor, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Additional days and hours during seasonal peaks like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, possibly including actual holidays and weekends.
3. Department Resets: Building/installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, including evenings and weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation tasks as needed across the team.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring high energy. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally, along with standing, walking, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs, and using ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology and access Wi-Fi/internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
