Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. Responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and servicing other vendor products as needed with provided instructions and additional time.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Your starting pay will be between $14.50 - $15.50 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 8–10 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Responsibilities include:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Supporting seasonal demand during holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends as needed.
3. Department Resets: Assisting with installations, fixture building, department relocations, and resets, often scheduled two weeks in advance, including evenings and weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts as required across the team.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally, while working on the sales floor and in stockrooms. You should be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology to open/read documents and interpret information.
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to report to assigned locations.
