Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. Responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets, and occasionally servicing other vendors' products with provided instructions and additional time.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.50 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the week.
• Weekly hours are between 8–10 hours.
• Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Key components include:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory via a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Increased hours and days around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends when needed.
• Department Resets: Installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, possibly during evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Supporting additional work and installation efforts beyond assigned responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

This demanding role requires high energy, involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. It also requires stooping, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate mobile technology for documentation and communication.
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to reported locations.
