Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned store with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $16.25 to $16.75 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 8 and 10 hours.
• Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device, communicate with supervisors, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Support seasonal demand during holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends.
• Department Resets: Participate in installations, fixture building, and resets, often with advance notice, possibly during evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Support additional work and installation efforts as needed within the team.

Physical Requirements

This role requires high energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. You should be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology to open/read documents and interpret information.
• Access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to report to locations.
