Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. Your responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in your assigned stores, with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time provided.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.50, depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 15 and 18 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in Hallmark departments across various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position involves three main components:

• Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours around major holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Some work may be required on holidays and weekends.
• Department Resets: Participating in installations, fixture building, department relocations, and resets, often with advance notice and sometimes during evenings or weekends.

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding, requiring high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, as well as stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to operate mobile technology to open/read documents and interpret information
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet
• Reliable transportation to report to assigned locations
