Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and being the face of Hallmark. Collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's products in your assigned stores, with instructions and additional time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay up to $16.00, depending on shift and location.
• Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours between 10-12 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role includes:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device, communicate with supervisors, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Support seasonal demands around major holidays, possibly working on the holiday itself.
3. Department Resets: Participate in installations and resets, often with two weeks' notice, which may include evenings and weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Support additional work and installation efforts as needed across the team.

Physical Requirements

This demanding role requires high energy, the ability to work on the sales floor and in stockrooms, and to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. You must be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and possibly climb stairs and ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate handheld technology for reading and interpreting documents.
• Access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
