Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships, and being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor's product in an assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges between $13.00 - $14.00, depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 8 - 10 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position includes three main components:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device, communicate with your supervisor, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Support seasonal demand during major holidays, with possible work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
3. Department Resets: Participate in installations and resets, often with two weeks' notice, which may include evenings or weekends.
4. One Team Vision: Support additional work and installation efforts as needed within the team.

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding, requiring high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and be able to stoop, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology.
• Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to reporting locations.
