Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, Hallmark may ask you to service another vendor's product in an assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay up to $13.00 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours range from 12 to 30 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position includes three main components:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product displays using a mobile device, communicate with your supervisor, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Support seasonal demand during holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends.
3. Department resets: Assist with installations, fixture building, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice for remodels, which may include evenings or weekends.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and be capable of stooping, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders throughout the day.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate hand-held technology for reading and interpreting documents.
• Access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
