Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, Hallmark may ask you to service another vendor's product in your assigned store, with detailed instructions and additional budgeted time provided.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.50, depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
• Weekly hours are between 15 and 20 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position includes three main components:

1. Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor product displays using a mobile device, communicate with supervisors, and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
2. Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including the actual holidays and weekends as needed.
3. Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice for remodels, which may include evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

This job requires high energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, and may need to climb stairs and ladders, and stand or squat for extended periods.
