Job summary

Claire’s is seeking a part-time, non-exempt team member at our Columbus, OH location. The role focuses on driving sales, assisting customers with fashion accessories, and supporting piercing services with proper training and hygiene practices.

You’ll maintain engaging visual displays, execute promos, and work with leadership to keep the store running smoothly. Daily tasks include inventory, cash handling, and creating a fun, inclusive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience preferred, with leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
• Proficient with POS system to handle transactions and sales operations.
• Ability to conduct piercings and maintain a safe, sterile environment where required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting promos.
• Assist piercing services with training, educate on aftercare and maintain hygiene.
• Keep store displays appealing and organized for easy shopping.
• Support Store Manager by motivating the team and sharing sales tips.
• Represent Claire's brand and stay current with fashion and social media trends.
• Oversee store operations including inventory, cash handling, and merchandising.
