Job Overview

As a Retail Installation Merchandise Floater, you will work independently or with a team to organize and maintain product displays. Your duties include removing products, dismantling and rebuilding fixtures, and placing new products. You will follow a schedule provided in advance and collaborate with store teams during peak seasons for resets and installations. Occasionally, you may service another vendor’s product in a store.

Salary and Shift Details

• Starting pay ranges from $15.75 to $16.50 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, primarily daytime shifts during the work week, possibly including evenings.
• Work hours vary, typically 10-20 hours per week, with resets scheduled approximately two weeks in advance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Availability during major holidays and weekends is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in retail stores, including resetting displays, organizing products, and using mobile devices for reporting and communication.
• Support seasonal holiday demands, working additional days and hours around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• Support additional service efforts as needed within the team.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires high energy, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to work on the sales floor and stockrooms, including climbing stairs and ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate mobile devices and access Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
