Job summary

ScanScape in Knoxville, TN is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit a designated selection of stores each week, scanning all product barcodes on displays and in aisles, including end caps. The data collected is analyzed to improve sales for the product and retailer.

You will work with a mobile app, enjoy flexible hours, and receive paid travel at your hourly rate (minus first and last 15 minutes). The role includes 401(k) eligibility with employer matching and a referral program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch.
• Must be deadline-driven and able to work independently.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores weekly using the mobile app.
• Cover multiple store types: grocery and convenience.
• Complete store tasks and data collection as directed, including 45% quantity checks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain accuracy.
