Job summary

Dollar Tree in Beaumont, CA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment for customers and team members. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
