Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent movement and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely according to productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
