Job summary

Family Dollar Stores of Louisiana LLC in Dixie Inn, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and maintain the security of cash and assets.

You will keep the store well-stocked, unload goods, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store, restrooms, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
