Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Leakey, TX store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain cash security, stock shelves, unload and stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring excellent customer service, teamwork, and safe operations. This role offers part-time hours and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, waste, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
