Job summary

Family Dollar in Floral City, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and presentable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail/hospitality/food service preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and endure frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service, communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Stock replenishment according to productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept/mopped, trash taken out, and areas neat.
