Job summary

Dollar Tree in Riverdale, Utah is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process sales at the register, and keep the store welcoming and well organized. You will assist with stocking, receive merchandise, maintain cleanliness, and perform duties to support smooth store operations.

Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs are important for success in this role. This is a part-time, on-site position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned.
