Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Mahopac, NY is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload shipments, and keep areas neat and presentable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs., frequent walking and standing, and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
