Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role supports cash handling, stock, and customer assistance in a part-time Wisconsin store, with a focus on safe, friendly service and reliable store upkeep.

You're expected to lift items as needed, follow instructions, and contribute to a clean, organized environment while providing courteous interactions and product recommendations to shoppers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
