Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Livonia, MI is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly, helpful shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload shipments, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
