Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Barberton location. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload shipments, and maintain cleanliness while upholding safety and courtesy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting, walking, standing, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
Provide a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions with customers and co-workers.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
Perform other duties as assigned.
