Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in New York. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked, clean, and safe. The role supports a positive shopping experience with friendly, professional interactions across customers and teammates.

The position involves unloading merchandise, restocking, and maintaining orderly areas. Training, flexible hours, and opportunities to grow within a national retailer are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing, walking, lifting and movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
