Job summary

Dollar Tree in Fulton, NY is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions. This position offers flexible hours and opportunities to work with a collaborative team in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
