Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Oakhurst, California is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, answer questions, and process transactions at the register with accuracy and courtesy.

You will stock shelves, unload shipments, maintain store cleanliness, and contribute to a safe, welcoming shopping environment while delivering friendly service to every customer you meet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug stores preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and be able to stand, walk, bend and reach frequently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
