Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, stock shelves, and keep aisles neat and organized.

This part-time role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or guest-facing experience is preferred. We offer a friendly team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
