Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate in Arnoldsburg, WV to deliver a positive shopping experience.

You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, unload trucks, keep the store clean, and maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and teammates. Training and growth opportunities are available through our benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions on the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and restocking.
• Maintain a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
