Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Jersey LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help maintain a clean and secure store environment.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with prior customer service experience preferred. Part-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
