Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Malden, MO to assist customers, answer questions, handle transactions at the register, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized. You will work as part of a team, provide friendly, respectful service, and follow safety and productivity standards.

Prior retail or service experience is preferred; the role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexible part-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment; interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
