Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Cashier (Associate I) to greet customers, handle transactions, and maintain an organized sales floor. You will operate the POS system, process cash and card payments, and participate in the roundup initiative to support the organization’s mission.

The role requires strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year retail sales or cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Verify till counts and maintain balanced cash drawer using a POS.
• Drive the roundup initiative by engaging customers and sharing the mission.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with questions and purchases.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Operate a computer-based cash register and credit card machine.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
