Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cashier/customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of customer needs assessment and precise math handling for transactions.
• Ability to promote products and sell respectfully.

• Professional conduct with customers and staff at all times.
• Must meet age requirements for tobacco/alcohol departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, resolve complaints, answer questions, locate products, and maintain a friendly demeanor while promoting sales.
• Process transactions (cash, cards, checks, fleet cards, accounts, fuel, tobacco, groceries).
• Stock shelves, perform stock checks, and verify deliveries with vendors.
• Clean store interior/exterior and maintain appearance and efficiency.
• Monitor evaluation dates and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
